Ensures agency representation at all UC hearings, either by personally appearing or by arranging to have other appropriate agency personnel appear, such as a representative from Chief Counsel. ![]() Submits all requested and supporting documentation to UC within the required timeframes. Researches and gathers the facts of each claim with input from supervisors, management, Employee Relations, and the Office of Chief Counsel. Completes UC forms for former employees and for employees on different types of leave without pay who apply for UC. Supports the Unemployment Compensation (UC) Program. Provides support for employee recognition programs. Helps identify scheduling issues/limitations and recommendations for appropriate solutions and system/rule design enhancements.Ĭoordinates alternate work schedules (AWS) and assists with the evaluation of the success of AWS programs. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of SAP work schedule rules/tools (to include shift planning), time rules, and correction procedures. Enters work schedules, processes work schedule change requests, and helps troubleshoot new work schedule initiatives. Supports the agencies' work schedule program. Works with other HR staff and the HR Service Center to coordinate these changes. Analyzes and processes additional actions needed including timekeeper role additions/deletions, short-term and long-term suspension actions and long-term leave without pay actions. Provides both policy and processing direction to managers, supervisors and timekeepers for TWOC and shift and training differential entries. Reviews completed Prior Service and Military Leave forms upon receipt to determine appropriate action. Assists with the maintenance of current information in this training and the development of content, handouts, and other learning aids to maximize the effectiveness of this training.Ĭonducts leave audits and processes error reports received from BCPO and the HR Service Center, including GAAP Audits, post audits, archiving, and year-end/begin actions. Provides timely and accurate processing of individual and mass HR payroll actions, such as Executive Board Actions, grievance settlements, adjudication awards, separations, suspensions, leave without pay processing, and out-of-class pay.Ĭonducts timekeeper training (headquarters and field locations) in the proper maintenance of payroll with regard to leave, wage, shift, and overtime. Reviews, prioritizes, and corrects all payroll errors prior to each pay processing, corrects errors identified through post audits in a timely manner, and provides technical support to timekeepers. Performs the duties and assumes the responsibilities of the time advisor for the agencies in accordance with the Personnel Rules, Management 505.7, the Absence Program Manual 530.7, collective bargaining agreements, and all other applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. ![]()
